We're interested to buy the Delete duplicate posts plugin, however we have an important question, since there isn't a trial version available and there are no refunds.

The main problem we have with duplicate posts is this:
1. We are doing constant imports of WP blog to mirror sites.
2. Usually, WP import only adds new posts and skips existing posts.
3. HOWEVER - when the post title includes a single quote char, like "The child's game", it gets duplicated.
4. Something in the comparison process isn't working and wordpress creates a duplicate for posts with titles that include a single quote.

So the question is:

Can this plugin identify these posts as duplicates? Or is this bug something internal to wordpress, and this plugin, being working on a mysql script that runs on WP's DB will also fail in finding these duplicates?

Since we can't try, and we won't get any refund in case this doesn't work, we fill the only way to know is to ask here.
