INSERTING IMAGES INTO MAGAZINE COLUMNS PLUGIN

    I have just installed Magazine Columns into a my site which makes nice columns. Thx. I am trying to insert images into the site but I can't seem to adjust the size of them like I could before I used Magazine Columns plugin. Please can you explain how to do this. Note I am not a coder. It is as much as I've managed to add columns using your tag. Thanks. (rositatrust.org)

    If you have an image within the columns it will shrink down to size.

    In my case the opposite. I have inserted an image of 125px width (tiny) but when I insert the image it gets blown up to the width of the column i.e. larger than it is.

    As per my previous question how do I work with different images sizes in my columns with this plugin or is it not possible? If it is not possible to change image sizes and the plugin automatically defaults image to the same width as the column then it would be good to know this.

    Ahh. I think that is a bug. It does blow up images to the full width of the column. If you open up magazine-columns.php you will find this line:

    echo " .columns img { width: 98% }\n";


    Change it to this:
    echo " .columns img { max-width: 98% }\n";


    I will be updating the plugin soon.

    Thanks that seems to work for images.

    A second issue I have is that I can't seem to embed a (vimeo hosted) video at the size stated in the embed code. If you see the page http://www.rositatrust.org/projects/ the video in the left column is set at 400px wide but it appears small and stretched.

    Your help appreciated.

    I actually haven't done any testing with video. I will have to work on this one to figure it out.
