I plan on continuing to do so, but I also plan on creating Premium themes for those who need a little bit more control. For my first Premium theme, I have collaborated once again with Juan Gordillo. Illustrious is a full-featured, easily customizable theme for WordPress that has an endless amount of possibilities.

Illustrious is the first Premium theme I have ever developed and I jam-packed it full of features. You have two options for a front page, either a simple blog layout or a professional grid style with a featured section, a slogan and more. You can also specify which category feeds each section. A font option allows you to select different fonts for your header tags and your main body text.

An easy-to-use Theme Options admin section gives you total control over Illustrious's look and feel. Personalize Illustrious according to your specific layout and design needs with only a few clicks.
Custom Front Page
An optional custom front page is divided into sections with a large featured post at the top, a slogan, a two-column grid-style layout and a quote. Just interested in a straight-forward blog? Swtich off the custom front page and Illustrious becomes just that.
Portfolio
Got some work you want to show off? With Illustrious, you can set up any page to feed in your portfolio items from any category you wish. Add sub-categories filled with your portfolio items and you can view them all together or separated.

Illustrious is built within the framework of the latest version of WordPress and requires PHP version 5. It will not work on a WordPress.com hosted site and is only compatible with a self-hosted installation of WordPress.
